Rhino Post Safari Lodge is situated on a 12000-hectare concession in the south-western section of the Kruger National Park.
The private concession borders Mala Mala and Sabi Sands Private Game Reserves and allows the unrestricted passage for a variety of animals and wildlife to wander through, creating moments of wonder for all our guests.
The lodge runs along the Mutlumuvi riverbed with wooden decks built among a forest of trees. Raised wood walkways connect thatched safari suites to the main lodge area where you will find the main pool, bar, and main lounge.
The lounge & bar and game viewing deck are both social and cosy and at the same time, large enough that guests are able to enjoy some quiet-time and privacy if wanted.
Morning game drive safaris enable to view a large amount of game, bringing you back to enjoy a leisurely brunch, swim, massage or afternoon nap before high tea and a late afternoon drive before dinner.
The evening safari game drive included sundowner drinks, after which we head back to the lodge for pre-dinner drinks and a dinner.
Whether you are planning to spend as much time as possible out on drives, or just to relax and unwind in the lodge you will be immersed in nature and surrounde by wildlife at all times.

WINE & DINE
Rhino Post Safari Lodge
The dining area at Rhino Post Safari Lodge has been designed to allow for both indoor and outdoor dining. The communal dining area encourages the sharing of stories with guides and guests over a friendly meal or opt for romantic private dinners and separate outdoor brunch tables (Available on request.)
The bar area and firepit overlook a waterhole filled from a borehole providing a refreshing stop for thirsty elephant and antelope in summer and a significant water source for a wide variety of animals in the dry winter months. Enjoy sipping on a cocktail while keeping an eye on the variety of wildlife as they slake their thirst. If you’re a true connoisseur, enjoy a South African speciality, Six Dogs Gin on a balmy summer evening, or a speciality espresso with or without a dash of Amarula Cream on a chilly winter’s night.
Our wine cellar carries a wide selection of South African wines from crisp, dry whites to gentle fruity Rosé or Methode Cap Classique Sparkling Wines perfect for a warm summer’s day. In winter soothing sherry and fortified wines are the order of the day. The toughest decision of your day being whether to complement your evening meal with a full-bodied Merlot, robust Cabernet Sauvignon or flamboyant Pinotage.
